Hello. Welcome to Okay History.

My name is Chris. I enjoy US history, presidential and Civil War in particular. I hope to provide my keen insight into various historical subjects in a manner that is at least somewhat entertaining because, as a friend told me once, everyone needs to know a bit of history. Why not make it sound okay?

My credentials are extensive.

• Both my brothers have history degrees.

• One of my best friends has a history degree.

• His father has a history degree.

• As a kid, I thought about becoming a historian.

• I have access to the internet machine and books.

• I read a lot about history.

• I enjoy writing about history.

I was born in Ohio, which has lots of history. I currently live in Washington, DC., which has even more.

I enjoy running, CrossFit, baseball, and tennis.
